Kim and Clay
Remember this lovely couple? I took their wedding pictures last year and now they are having a baby! Kim used to be my roommate and she will always have a special place in my heart. Once they got married, they moved away and for Christmas they've come back to Utah. Kim asked me to take their pictures, which I was/am so honored to have done. They are just so cute and you can definitely tell that they still love each other and are super excited to welcome their baby boy into their lives.

Final Project in Black and White
This is my final project for my photography class. Can you believe the end is here already? I know I sure can't. I wanted to do a love story/engagement pictures for my final project, since I want to be a wedding photographer. So, I asked my ever so beautiful and wonderful best friend Lindsay and her husband Greg, if they would be my models. They were so great! It was so fun to take their pictures, they were basically laughing the whole time. Aren't they adorable?! And can I just say that Lindsay is one of the most beautiful people I know. Her smile is perfect and the camera loved her. Also, in the pictures, that is not a Book of Mormon. I realized today that it may look like they're giving each other the "discussions"...
Also, I really can't decide if I want to keep my final project in color or change it to black and white. Let me know what you think!
(after going through them a 309,384,290,9273 times, I decided I need to do a little more editing with the exposure. So don't judge them too harshly...)

Super Duper Find!
I found this desk at DI with my Mom and Hubby and it was only $30.00! It actually opens up and there is an old Kenmore sewing machine inside. (It works too, it's just missing a pressure foot.) I love this desk so much it inspired me to clean up our second bedroom and now I can call it my "studio". I have been on a sewing rampage ever since! It really is amazing how much easier your life can be once you organize things.
I've been wanting to make Husband and me some Christmas stockings ever since we got married and with this new found drive, I finally did! Aren't they cute?
