The "Pinnacle" of our Alaskan Summer

I made Husband take pictures with me, so we could remember what he wore for this summer. He argued that we wouldn't want to remember, but I said that we would, so he was a good sport and posed for me. Isn't he ADORABLE? I love him so much and this summer has made us stronger and draw closer together. Although I feel that the exposure is too much in some of these photos I think they turned out pretty good. Again, no editing was involved so don't judge too harshly.

Bed and Breakfast Sneak Peek

We are now in Delta Junction AK and are staying at a charming Bed and Breakfast. It's way adorable and there are just so many fun things inside and out I decided to take my camera around and capture some of the most charming things. Plus, I'm really no good at landscapes and the weather is horrid here right now, so everything is in close-ups. (Which reminds me. This morning at breakfast there were some adorable women from England that I talked with for about an hour. They were so charming and they used the word "cheeky" several times, and I LOVE that word.) I had fun and did everything manually with my camera, because the auto-zoom in my good lens is broken and the lighting wasn't quite as bright as I needed it. Needless to say, it was so very fun. I was so excited that I called husband right after, but he was with a customer so he said he'd call me back. None of the photos are edited with computer software because I don't have Lightroom and I don't think the editing software I have is good enough for these (or ANY pictures I have). They just ruin what I've taken so I'm banning them. I LOVE MY CAMERA!

p.s. I will have to upload more later because the internet is slow. Call it a "sneak peak" if you will.

Holy Hike Batman!

Adam's awesome Aunt and Uncle along with their youngest son came up to visit Keston, their son, who is selling up here also. We went on a hike and it was pretty intense! We had a lot of fun though. We were completely surrounded by fog almost the entire time, and I felt like I was in Ireland. In fact, I sad that once and then I realized that the people behind us were from England. Funny huh?

This next one was from the drive from Kenai back up to Anchorage. I loved that drive!

Well, I will try to post more pictures, because I have more. But until then, thanks for reading!

p.s. I really miss my trial version of Lightroom. Does anyone want to donate one to me?
